Color Correction School for Oriental Rugs
Phil Auserehl Ron Toney will present a three day advanced class for existing rug cleaners who want to take their skills to a higher level. The course cost is $699.00 and is to be held September 16, 17,&18 2015 at Castle Cleaning & Oriental Rug Co. llc; 565 3rd St. Berthoud, Colorado 80513. Sat the 19th a shop tour by Phil Auserehl. There are only 8 (Now 7) seats available for this course. Each student will recieve their own spot dyeing kit and air brush.
Ron Toney is recognized as the industry’s leader in cleaning sciences, fine fabric cleaning and rug color correction. Ron will teach the What to do, Why you do it and How dyeing really works on natural and synethic fibers. Learn the skill of color mixing with only three colors. Classroom lectures sections are followed by visual demonstrations of each dyeing axiom.
This course addresses the history of color, color theory, natural and synthetic dyes, dye methods, types of dyes, types of fibers, carpet styles and dye procedures. Other topics covered include color related cleaning issues such as fading, color loss due to contamination or bleaching, and the use of cleaning agents that may affect or remove color from carpet. Students will have the opprotunity to take a pre-course online (by their schedule) that will cover the techincal and pratical stuff before coming to live class.

Those successfully completing this course and have CCT or CMT Certification may thake the CRT examination to qualify for professional certification. A separate check and application to IICRC is required, payable at the class.
